Thirty five years after opening her restaurant Melbourne's classy Carlton district in 1979, Abla Amad, Lebanese restaurateur an cookery writer has been rightly honoured. Abla was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to tourism, hospitality and the Lebanese community in Australia.
