Still Room For Improvement In Perth Catering Industry

Catering Institute president Craig Joel concedes that while a number of high-end restaurants performed well last year, the lunch trade in Perth has suffered. "The restaurants seems to be doing pretty well in the evening but for lunchtimes it's a difficult period to generate spend," Mr Joel said. Although he feels that more consumers might be dining out, they tend to be spending less when they do.
