Clarity Called for on Australian Food Products

Caterers in Perth and the rest of Australia may need to be clear in the future about where their products were sourced. A new system of labelling is proposed to prevent "grown in Australia" from being used unless the product is completely Australian. The confusing term "made in Australia from local and imported ingredients" would be replaced by information on the percentage of local ingredients contained in products that are packaged or canned in Australia.
