Breakfast is becoming one of the most popular meals for Australians. The number of breakfast occasions has risen from 2.5 per person to over 3. Caterers and others in the restaurant and catering industry perceive the rise in breakfast orders to be a major part of any increase in trade.Not only are we buying about 10 million breakfasts a year, the number of venues opening early has risen 12 per cent to cope.
