Australian Ham Week, which promotes locally produced ham, commenced with the presentation of Australia's Annual Ham Awards. Taking place in the week from 30th November to 6th December, the week was inaugurated in 2009, and highlights numerous restaurants across Australia highlighting the provision of local ham in their menus.
